NASA Space Apps challenge is an International competition organized by NASA every year to bring out innovative ideas. Selected teams from every country participate in this competition where they make an attempt to solve challenges posed by NASA. This year pre-qualifiers for North India region will be hosted by JIMS in form of a 24 hour non-stop coding competition starting 31st August 2018 9.00 am. Top three selected teams will be further competing with all other regional qualifiers in a 36 hours coding event at IIT-Delhi on 19th October. Top 3 teams selected there will be facing NASA global challenge and will be competing with selected teams from different countries.
JIMS Rohini is hosting pre-qualifiers for NASA Space Apps Challenge competition. It will be 36 hours non-stop coding event starting on 31st August 2018 9:00 am and will conclude at 9:00 am next morning. Any team of not more than 4 members can participate on strictly BYOD basis. Challenges will be posted 6 days prior to the start of the event. Teams are allowed to work on any platform, framework, technology or language. Top three winners will be declared on 1st September at 9:00 am. Every participant will receive a certificate of participation from NASA.
Challenges that participants need to create solutions for the following in the Hackathon @College
A Google form will be created for participants to give their details, team details and basic idea. The idea can be changed later on the day of event if needed.
The team size for the participation is four members (Maximum).
No fee for Registration. Accomodation fee is available(paid).
The Internal Hackathons for all Schools/Colleges on Friday, 31st Aug, 2018 to 1st Sept, 2018 at JIMS Rohini, Sector 5, Delhi
Generally, the participants come with their own laptops and requisite hardware and software
Wifi connection will provide only one terminal for each team. However other team member need to arrange internet connection from their own.
