INDUSTRIAL VISIT to Maruti Suzuki Manufacturing Plant

Students of PGDM and PGDM (International Business) 2013-2015 Batch went for an industrial trip to Maruti Suzuki manufacturing plant in Old Palam Gurgaon Road ,Gurgaon, on 16th August, 2013.
Mr. Malhotra (Factory Operations Manager) gave presentation related to the history of Maruti and its operations and production to the students. Students were taken around the plant and were explained about the production and operations process. Students also interacted with the staff of Maruti and were shown videos in the car manufacturing. The process of making of Maruti cars is totally automated and is internationally designed. Students cleared all their queries and received an interactive exposure.
Overall it was highly interactive and learning visit for the students on the concepts related to production and operations in a large manufacturing plant.
