Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Sector 5, Rohini, Delhi organized a Guest Session for the students of BCA and BBA on 27th February, 2021. The topic for the session was Web Services. The resource person for the session was Ms. Manisha Raj who is working as Lead Software Engineer at Conduent. She is our alumni from MCA 2006-2009 Batch.
The purpose of the session was to actively engage the students and help them to understand web services basics and how it works at the back end on the web sites. The lecture began with the introduction and an example at the layman level and then, moved towards the concept of SOAP, WSDL, etc. The students got an opportunity to understand the actual job requirement for the web developer profile. A good number of students attended the session and took an active part and asked their queries. Overall it was a fruitful session and gave some new insights to the students.
