The FPM Department at JIMS, Rohini organized the Pre-Synopsis Seminar by Himanshu Goel, research scholar (FPM, 2018 Batch) on 20th April’2022 at the campus. The session started with the welcome address by Dr. Neelam Dhall, Dean (Research and Development). Dr. Neelam welcomed the evaluation committee members, which comprised of two external experts, namely- Dr. C.S. Sharma, Professor, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University, and Dr. P.K. Gupta, Professor and Director at Centre for Management Studies, Jamia Milia Islamia, and the members of Departmental Research Committee (DRC). Subsequently, Himanshu shared his complete research work through a detailed presentation that lasted for about 45 minutes. As the presentation progressed, there were a lot of queries from the external experts which were aptly answered by the scholar. During the discussion, experts gave pertinent suggestions and advised the scholar to incorporate the suggested changes in his research work. Moreover, experts shared their personal research experiences and guidelines on how research scholars can get publications in good category journals. Overall, both the experts were quite impressed with the research work undertaken by Himanshu; and complimented that the quality of his research is reflective of the strong research culture at JIMS, Rohini. Thereafter, Dr. Neelam concluded the session by thanking the external experts and DRC members for sharing their valuable insights.
