TechnoWhiz an Annual Infotech Symposium on the regular basis for its undergraduate students of Bachelor Computer Applications (BCA).

This year, TECHNOWHIZ – 2018 is anticipating an exceptionally introspective session about INDUSTRY 4.0 Fourth Industrial Revolution is representing Industry 4.0 or Smart Industry. Industry 4.0 is the contemporary industrial transformation with Big Data, AI, IOT, Robotics, Cloud Computing, Cyber – Physical Systems (CPS) and many more to perceive smart industry. All above are essential components of this industrial transformation through IT. Industry 4.0 is convergence of two unique worlds, i.e. IT & OT which were disconnected so far, into a hyper-connected digital industry.

It is the next phase in the digitization of the manufacturing sector to cover all the challenging aspects such as the astonishing rise in data volumes, computational power & connectivity, the emergence of analytics and BI capabilities, new forms of human-machine interactions such as touch interface & augmented-reality systems, transferring digital instructions to the physical world such as advanced robotics and 3D printing etc. The concept behind Industry 4.0 is that products are finding way in independent process. In the intelligent factories machine & product communicate with each other. Objective is to produce highly flexible individualized & resource friendly optimized mass production with the help of sensors, RFID based Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) which communicate and control each other cooperatively. Cyber Physical Control is important as connecting real with virtual world is done through simulation to maintain quality, efficiency & flexibility.

Industry 4.0 or the 4th Industry Revolution with Cyber Physical Systems is still a vision and will become a reality in 15 years from now. In Intelligent factories everything is interconnected wirelessly. The vision is to take the internet down to lowest level, means every sensor & every actuator is participant in IoT. Each device has its own IP address so it can be addressed to this Network. Products will directly communicate with the machines for everything and the human interface is no longer required. For customers it means tailor made products at relatively affordable prices. For industry, it means high flexibility for mass production that can be rapidly adapted to market changes.

Mr.Neeraj Gupta is currently working at IBM India., serving multiple industries and having varied Domestic and International experience of around 27 years in organizations such as Department of Electronics- Government of India, GTL Limited, British Standards Institution and GE Capital. He’s responsible for architecting and overseeing the implementing new security requirements in a complex system, providing presales support to IBM Information Security Client Solution Architects, Sales Reps, Business Partners, and customers. He is been playing a pivotal role with Industry Solution Lab (ISL) as Client Center Advisory & Technology (CAT) team member and acting as Information Security Thought Leader.

Mr. Rakshit Tandon Director- Council of Information Security(CIS) , Cyber Security Evangelist has experience of more than a decade in Security Domain. Chairing and part of various Important Security Councils and Chapter. He is Director Executive - Council of Information Security and Cyber Security Consultant to Internet and Mobile Association of India. Marked as Resource Person/Faculty for Cyber Crime Investigations at BPRD Bureau of Police Research And Development for Training Law Enforcement Officers across the Country. Member Advisory to National Cyber Safety and Security Standards.He in personal capacity has sensitized more than 2.0 million students on the issue of Cyber Safety across the nation covering more than 24 states, 4 union territories.
