Managing Self for Leading Othe
Introduction
According to Edwin Flippo, “No organization has a choice of whether to develop employees or not, the only
choice is that of method.” The need for management development is well accepted in the present business,
which is fast changing due to technological and social developments.
Ironically, most MDPs are tailored to evolution of a single managerial perspective at a time, whereas the efficacy
of a manager is the entirety of diverse facets of his personality. Refining only one side may make a person deranged.
Therefore this MDP confronts manifold aspects of a manager so that he emerges as a morally and socially upright
individual
