TechnoWhiz 2017
Jagan Institute of Management Studies has always endeavored towards skill development – widening the horizons of its students towards revolutionary upcoming technologies and its applications. JIMS, Rohini organizes TechnoWhiz an Annual InfoTech Symposium on the regular basis for its undergraduate students of Computer Applications (BCA).
TechnoWhiz, is an effort which is highly appreciated by both academia and industry. The institute aims at ratifying technologies with wider applications, specifically beneficial to the Indian industry and society. This year, TECHNOWHIZ – 2017 is anticipating an exceptionally introspective session about DIGITAL INDIA: EXPLORING THE CHALLENGES.
This ambitious initiative of the Indian Government aims to bridge the digital divide and bring high-speed Internet and government services to the rural and underprivileged parts of the country by 2019. In view of the turmoil that Indian citizens are going through as the fallout of demonetization, everyone is looking for the digital on line means of making financial transactions. Alternate means of payment are mostly dependent on technology which has still not gained the confidence of the majority of the population. It’s an E-Kranti movement of changing E-Governance to M-Governance.
This year TechnoWhiz, emphasis is on Digital India and their security challenges. With such crucial amount of data being transferred, data security is shot in the dark. Thus, we try to explore various security issues like- Cyber Insuarance, Online password Guessing: Attacks and Prevention, Intrusion Detection System, Hacking and Cracking, Security Challenges of IoT, Wireless Intelligent Networks.
