Ms. Priya Bhatnagar, HR Manager, India Mart today visited our college for a session on “Essentials of Interview” on 18 Nov, 2017. The session for PGDM 2017-19 batch started with a Power Rejuvenation activity. The speaker shared with us her professional experience and her journey in the Corporate World. Since the session was focused on placement interview, Ms Bhatnagar also touched upon how to qualify in group discussion session which most of the Corporates conduct during placement drives. She then divided the students in a group of 8 and Group Discussion was conducted to evaluate the students on content, group behaviour and leadership skills thereby pointing out generally committed errors. The topic of discussion was very contemporary and interesting– Is Bullet Train the need of India?
We were provided with the feedback in regard to:

Also, Ms. Priya gave us a glimpse on how the interview happens using one of the fascinating techniques- role-play. We were then enlightened on the insights of art and techniques of handling the personal interviews.
She too advised all of us to evaluate ourselves through SWOT Analysis every week and bring newspaper reading to practice.
In the end, she discussed in detail the type of questions a candidate can ask the interviewer that would help in leaving a good impression.
Overall, it happened to be an interactive session with immense learning, thereby enhancing our knowledge and skills in regard to placement purposes.
