A multimillionaire Entrepreneur ‘Elon Musk’ once said “If you’re trying to create a company, it’s like baking a cake. You have to have all the ingredients in the right proportion.” Consider this thought as the focal point to encourage entrepreneurship ecosystem in the nation, it is crucial to understand how and why of the key factors such as ‘policy framework, cultural needs, human capital, financial support, market demand’ which affects the business development of entrepreneurs.
This summit aims to focus on the role of social and economic environment that significantly impact the local or regional entrepreneurship. It also aims to address the hurdles that have proved detrimental for the growth of the start-ups
India takes pride in the improvement of its ranking in the Global Innovation Index and kudos to the New Age Entrepreneurs who are not only the key wealth creators but a glorifying endowment of India. The COVID19 pandemic has indicated the power of innovative ideas to make the world move even during the lockdown. The immense contribution of the New Age Entrepreneurs is remarkable to revolutionize the way we work presently. India is becoming the world’s fastest growing ecosystem with over 60 unicorns as of now.

The rising global concern on climate change and sustainable development has led to a paradigm shift in the Indian markets. Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India has established ‘Institution Innovation Council’ to systematically foster the culture of Innovation among all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The primary mandate of IIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are informative years
A network of IICs are established to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion ecosystem in the campuses.
Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) imparts professional education at Post Graduate and Graduate levels in the fields of Management and Information Technology. The Institute has been working for the attainment of a mission: to develop highly skilled and professional human resource for industry and business for the past 27 years. Established in 1993, it has now acquired a commendable position as one of the premier institutes of the country. Our PGDM, PGDM (IB), PGDM (RM) Programme are approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education. PGDM, PGDM (IB) & PGDM (RM) Programmes are accredited from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for excellence in quality education and have also been granted equivalence to MBA degree by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). In the first ever NIRF ranking (2016) of teaching plus research management institutes, JIMS Rohini was placed on 43rd spot in a list of top 50 on all India basis. Since then, JIMS Rohini continues to remain in the list of elite B schools of India (Top 75) in 2017, 2018, 2019,2020 and 2021
Apart from providing gainful and decent placement, JIMS also encourages the spirit of entrepreneurship and acts as an incubation centre for aspiring entrepreneurs and young start-ups
