FOOTLOOSE’16 is one of the most sought for events among JIMS VERVE(Annual Cultural Fest). The event witnessed a solo dance competition for the students of JIMS and also for the students of other colleges and different universities on 27th Feb’16 from 4:00-5:30 pm. Faculty coordinators for the event were Ms. Mansi Arora Madan and Ms. Mahima Gupta (form JIMS,SECTOR 5) helped the students to take inititaive in conducting the event successfully. Students achored the event through with full vigour. Judges for the event were well known choreographers Mr. Parvez Khan and Mr. Vicky Sarwan. Both the guests are very successful in fields of dance and have great name in their profession.
Students actively participated from JIMS Sector 5, JIMS Sector 3,JIMS Bahadurgarh as well as from different universities and colleges such as: VIPS College(IPU),Keshav Mahavidhalaya College(DU),Aryabhatt college,Satyawati College(DU),Ramanujam College,SOL(DU),Deshbandu College(DU),Guru Teg Bahadur College,IGNOU,Zakhir Hussain College(DU),Daulat Ram College(DU),Rajdhani College(DU),Govt College(Bahadurgarh),Kamal Institute,FDDI,Kasturi Ram College,MERI and DIRD(IPU),Institute Of Innovation IN Technology,Tecnia Institute(IPU),Shyam lal College(DU),Bhartiya Vidyapeeth College,Trinity College.
There was immense talent with so much participation that choosing the best from the talent pool was difficult for our judges. But their eye of expertise awarded:

2nd Position: Vipin Kumar (IGNOU College)
3rd Position: Mohit Gupta (Zakir Hussain College)
The peppy song medleys and groovy dance steps indulged the audience to hop and spin.
