Knowledge Symposium by International Business Department of JIMS
Jagan Institute of Management Studies organized a Knowledge Symposium on “Emerging Opportunities and Risk Management in Global Business” in collaboration with Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) as Knowledge Partner at India Habitat Centre on 17th October 2014.
Experts from the trade and industry, government organizations, international business support institutions and academics were present at the symposium to deliberate on two of the major challenges of the present day global business challenges: (i) Doing Business in Emerging Markets – Prospects and Challenges, and (ii) Managing Challenges of Exchange Rate Volatility.
The Chief Guest for the day was H.E. Ms. Florence Imisa Weche , High Commissioner, Kenya High Commission, New Delhi and Mr. Ajay Sahai, DG & CEO, FIEO, Delhi was the Guest of Honour. The Symposium was introduced by Dr Ritu Bajaj, JIMS . Dr. J.K. Goyal, Director, JIMS in his inaugural speech introduced JIMS to everyone. A warm welcome to the Chief Guest was extended by Mr. Manish Gupta, Chairman, JIMS followed by Vote of Thanks by Dr Ashok Bhagat. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sahai complemented JIMS for organizing an excellent session on such a relevant topic “Challenges of Global Business”.
