COURSE OBJECTIVE

The Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) is 3 year fulltime professional course affiliate to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The objective of this course is to impart high quality management education to wide cross-section of students. The program is crafted to develop the intellectual capacity of students along with their executive personality equipped with managerial skills to enable them for managerial positions in the Industry. The behavioural competencies like analytical and reflective thinking techniques that graduates learn provide a strong foundation for them to start and sustain their own entrepreneurial ventures. The curriculum creates opportunities for students to upgrade themselves and gain hands on experience with the corporates under our internship program. These objectives embrace academic proficiency amongst students and generate a comprehensive ability in them to enrol in post graduate programs. The program is an appropriate blend of general management, accounting, capital management, marketing and communications, strategy and operations, law and entrepreneurship, bringing both functional and integrative skills in the field of business. The quality courseware, personalised instruction and industry interface provide the right proportion of theoretical and pragmatic skills required for student’s professional orientation. COURSE ELIGIBILITY

Aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class for the purpose of eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of best four subjects (unless otherwise specified) including English as compulsory subject.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The BBA programme is a three-year course divided into six-semesters. (With effect from 2017) a student is required to complete 140 credits for the completion of course and the award of degree out of 132 credits.

(With effect from 2021) A student is required to complete 142 credits for the completion of course and the award of degree out of 134 credits.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Students must appear in Common Entrance Test conducted by GGSIPU. CET qualified applicants shall be considered for admission, through University Counselling subject to fulfilment of eligibility and admission criteria.
